Adult Coaching Session 13.00 Saturday 24th August at Tain MX track.
A 3 hour coaching session will be available on a first come first served basis for up to 20 riders, on Saturday. The 2 trainers are Andrew Bissett former Enduro and H&H champion, and Ricky Mair former Enduro, H&H and MX champion.
Andrew will concentrate on ditch crossing, bogs( if we can find one) and crossing logs. Ricky will coach on sand riding, berms and woops. The pupils will spend half the session with each trainer.
The cost is £20 per rider and should be booked and paid with Caroline with the entry.
The club would like to thank both trainers for their time and patience in this and they are doing this on a no-charge basis to help the new club become established.
If there is sufficient interest there could be a youth session but interest must be declared to Caroline ASAP.
VENUE :- Tain MX Track, Balnagall Farm, Fearn, Ross Shire, IV20 1RT
The event will be run from the Tain Championship MX track approx. 2 miles off the A9 south of Tain. Markers will be in place from Saturday morning from the A9.
Over night Parking is available at the track free of charge.
Youth/Juniors should be able to provide one marshal each as there are a number of jumps on the MX part of the lap.
Scrutineering :- 8:30 AM, priority given to youth
Youth Start 9.15 am 1hrs 15mins duration
Adult Riders briefing 10:45 adults start 11:00
Machines should be brought to start line 15mins before start time
DATE :- Sunday 25th. August 2019
MACHINES :- Must be clearly numbered on front and side panels (with correct colour front background Red/green – Expert, Yellow – Clubman B, Clubman, Blue – Over 40/Over 50, Black – Sportsman) , engine noise must not exceed 94 dba. There will be no restriction on tyre type.
REFUELLING :- Will be restricted to an area designated for refuelling and will be marked by green flags. No smoking will be permitted in or near this area. Engines must be stopped during refuelling. All riders must provide a fire extinguisher and environmental mat.
HELMETS :- Gold or silver A.C.U. current stamped helmets must be worn.
Hemet and body cameras are not permitted, cameras secured to bikes are permitted.
I.D. Discs :- Must be worn giving name, date of birth and blood group if known.
Concussion :- “I undertake to notify the club of any recent (within the last 23 days) concussion injury and will produce a doctor’s note to state I am able to compete in the event” . The Doctors note to state “The rider is no longer suffering the consequences of concussion”.
No Power washing allowed at the event. Penalty – EXCLUSION !!
Exceeding walking pace in blue tape area – Exclusion
Course cutting or any other very dodgy practices – Exclusion
Smoking in refueling area – Exclusion
PLEASE DO NOT DROP LITTER ANYWHERE IN THE PARKING AREAS OR ON THE COURSE THIS IS FARM LAND, Please no riding in the parking area.
